The left winger became the latest English teenager to head overseas when he joined Juventus in September, rejecting reported interest from Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. Iling-Junior made eight appearances in the Under-18 Premier League last season for Chelsea and was seen as one of the academy's brightest prospects having also established himself as a regular for England's Under-17 side. "Full of vast emotions," he wrote on Instagram after confirming his move. "Being at Chelsea from such a young age has truly built me." Iling-Junior has already made an impression in Turin – he provided an assist on his debut for Juve's Primavera side but could not prevent them losing 3-1 to Milan.

Sixteen goals in 17 appearances would be a fine return for a centre-forward, but Miretti hit that number while playing in midfield for Juventus’s under-17s last season. Rangy and elegant in possession, he seems to find open spaces very naturally and excels at breaking the lines. Born in Saluzzo, just outside Turin, to a family of Juventus fans, his dynamic play and status as a homegrown talent has drawn comparisons to Claudio Marchisio, though he cites Kevin de Bruyne as his inspiration.
